Shortages

Friday, September 26, 2008

Here is Georgia we have a gasoline shortage, gas stations are closed and it's like a game of roulette to find a station that's open. And as inconvenient as it is, that is nothing compared to THIS shortage.

Ezekiel 3:1-3, "And he said to me, “Son of man, eat what is before you, eat this scroll; then go and speak to the house of Israel.” So I opened my mouth, and he gave me the scroll to eat. Then he said to me, “Son of man, eat this scroll I am giving you and fill your stomach with it.” So I ate it, and it tasted as sweet as honey in
my mouth.
"

Colossians 3:16, "Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God."

The only problem with us in the States is that we have plenty of "physical" Bibles in our homes and ready to buy in stores, and yet we are extremely malnourished.

I had to add that it's worth investing in those who don't have a Bible they can read - one in their own language. (Go to oneverse.org.)
