History of the word - Missional

I am sure if you've been around church for the last couple of years, you've heard your church, or a church say, "We are missional".

What is missional? Unfortunately that word has been overused, and misused by many well-intentioned Christians.

Geoff Hsu, an old friend of mine, found an old post by Ed Stetzer on the history (and I suppose the development) of the term “missional.” It is worth reading as worthwhile summary of the development of this critical terminology.
