Lauren and I saw the movie "Amazing Grace" on Saturday night. We loved it!
I totally disagree with the review that I read the other day, after seeing the movie I wondered if that reviewer saw the same movie that I did.

Suitable for kids -- 13, 10, 9?
Ron,
In my opinion Yes. It is suitable in that there are no objectionable images or dialog. They explain what happened to the slaves but they don't graphically show what they are going through. It is a dialog driven movie, English accents and all that, so I am not sure if your younger children will follow or track the plot as well...that would be my only clarification for younger kids. I do think the subject matter creates a wonderful conversation though with kids about standing against the cultural tide, doing the right thing and the dignity of human life.
