Today is the day. I am sitting in my office before Sunday service and a couple of minutes before our prayer time. We are beginning to launch our Capital Campaign for our first facility this morning. There is a lot of joy, excitement and energy with this step of faith. But it is also scary. We are trusting God for some big stuff, believing of course that He is the one leading us, but it is challenging my socks off. Pray for Jon, me, our elders, our Capital Campaign team, our building team and our staff during this time. The next couple of months are going to be exciting to see how God shows up. I know that after this season we are going to have dozens of stories of God "sightings" and how he moved in and through the family of Big Creek Church.
