Had a great vacation down in sunny Florida. Saw family and some old friends and got to go to Old Key West in Disney, Mt. Dora and some of our favorite places. Also I had a chance to read...oh, to read lots of books - what a vacation. Finished a couple books, one of my favorites was "Hood" by Stephen Lawhead. It is the first of his new King Raven Trilogy about the myth of Robin Hood. It was a fresh retelling of a familiar story.
Also as you can see I changed my banner (yet again). I am sure it is not a good blogging practice to change a site's banner too often, but for me my banner is like my computer wallpaper. I simply get tired of looking at the same thing and I want a fresh look. The photo is from the "Temple of Heaven Park" in Beijing, China. I just love this photograph.

I've always liked Lawhead, but thought he had been drifting away from his best style in more recent works. This one is a return to the writing style of The Song of Albion, or early Pendragon series. Great Book! can't wait for the rest of the series.
